The Easiest Way to Get More Leads

I don't know why this didn't occur to me when I started my business.
I think I ignored a lot of green flags.
The Easiest Way
Without a shadow of a doubt, the easiest way to get A LOT more leads and sales, is to have an AMAZING lead magnet. (aka freebie).
Why?
How many freebies have you downloaded from people and you never consumed from them again? You definitely didn't buy from them
But if someone gave you something amazing for free, you'd never forget them.
I just created a lead magnet and launched it to my audience and the uptake has been absolutely insane.
What I Created To Give Away?
I gave my audience the first step.
I teach a language and I always get asked, 'But where do I start?'.
I was going to sell this, but after reading and listening to Alex Hormozi's latest book, '$100 Million Leads', I had a lightbulb moment.
No, this is what I give away. I will sell the next steps after.
What Can You Create?
It depends on what you teach.
A lot of experts say, give away the what and the why, and sell the how.
This didn't work for selling a language, so I gave away the start because I sell the fluency later.
So, ask yourself
- What is the first step that I can give my audience, and what can I sell them as the next steps?
- What is something that you can give away that deals with the what and why, and what can you create that sells the how?
Example; If you have a business selling how to create courses. You could give away the 'Finding your audience/ avatar', and 'creating a freebie', then sell how to actually build out and create the course.
Easy Content Creation
When you have an amazing lead magnet (freebie) that your audience loves, content creation and getting leads becomes so easy.
1. You don't feel like you're selling because you're giving away.
2. It becomes so easy to talk about what you have to offer, especially in the lead magnet.
How do you make money?
You create an email sequence that sells your offer to anyone who opts in to your lead magnet.
So, it looks like this...
1. Someone sees what you are offering for free and opts in.
2. Now they are a lead.
3. They consume, or don't consumer the freebie.
4. You have an automated email sequence that sends them a series of emails to sell your main offer (product).
5. Some of those people who read those emails buy.
And, that's it!
What mine looks like
1. I created a mini course on how to start learning the language I teach.
2. I told my email subscribers and followers all about it.
3. A LOT of people opted in.
4. I first sent them emails to help them complete the mini course. I automated all this inside Kajabi (the platform I use).
5. After 3 weeks (because the mini course takes that time), I automated another series of emails to sell my language monthly membership.
6. Because Kajabi is so cool, I was also able to see who had completed the course, or most of it, and I was able to tag them and send them a different series of emails because they are the most likely to enjoy the membership.
7. I got a lot more students in the membership.
8. The best part is that this is all on autopilot. I set it up once and it goes and goes.
